The following place in India have been added to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list
1. Sacred Ensembles of Hoysalas: They are a group of 3 temples built by the Hoysala dynasty between 12th and 13th centuries in Karnataka. The temples are:
1. Chennakeshava Temple is located in Belur (Hassan)
2. Hoysaleswara Temple is located in Halebidu (Hassan)
3. Keshav Temple in Somnathpura (Mysuru)
2. Santiniketan: Santiniketan was founded as an ashram by Debendranath Tagore, father of Rabindranath Tagore in the 19th century. It is connected to the life and philosophy of Rabindranath Tagore, the leading figure of the Bengali Renaissance.
Launch of Solar Observation Satellite Aditya-L1
Aditya-L1 is a solar observation satellite launched by Indian Space Research Organisation. The Aditya-L1 mission will take around 109 Earth days after launch to reach the halo orbit around the L1 point, which is about 1,500,000 km from Earth. The planned mission duration is 5.2 years from the date of launch.

What is point L1?
Ans: L1 or Lagrange Point 1 is one of the 5 points located between the sun and the earth where the gravitational pull of two large masses precisely equals the centripetal force required for a small object to move with them. They have been named after the Italian-French mathematician Josephy-Louis Lagrange. WIND and SOHO are other spacecraft positioned at L1 point. The L1 point of the Earth-Sun system affords an uninterrupted view of the sun.

Aim: To provide reservation to women in Parliament and State Assemblies
Insertions of Articles in the Constitution of India:
Insertion of Clause ba, bb, bc to Article 239AA to provide reservation to women in Legislative Assembly of Delhi.
Insertion of Article 330A (1), (2) and (3) to provide reservation to women in Lok Sabha.
Insertion of Article 332A (1), (2) and (3) to provide reservation to women in Legislative Assembly of every state.
Insertion of Article 334A (1), (2), (3) and (4) to provide that the reservation will come into effect after an exercise of delimitation is undertaken after relevant figures for the first census taken after the 128th amendment. Rotation of seats will take place after each subsequent delimitation.
