A unified shortlist will be prepared by the CAP coordinating IIM, and the shortlisting criteria will be consistent for all participating IIMs.

Admission Process:

Candidates from the combined shortlist will undergo the New IIMs Common Admission Process, involving Common Personal Interview (PI).

Written Ability Test (WAT) may not be conducted for the admission process in 2024.

Change of CAP Centre:

Requests for changing CAP centers for the year 2024 should be submitted to the admission cell/e-mail ID of the CAP coordinating IIM by the specified deadline (likely in the last week of January or first week of February 2024).

The acceptance of these requests is solely at the discretion of the CAP conducting IIM, and communication regarding the changes will be conveyed to the candidates.

Each IIM will consider the PI score of the shortlisted candidates and incorporate it with other scores, including CAT 2023 Score, Profile score, and any additional score, to formulate their individual merit lists.

Only the Personal Interview will be conducted jointly for the new IIMs.

Final Merit List:

The final merit list for each IIM will be determined according to its unique selection criteria, which will be available on the respective institutes' websites.

Compulsory Attendance:

Candidates are informed that attending the CAP 2024 process is mandatory for all those who are shortlisted.

These guidelines outline the key aspects of the CAP 2024 admission process, emphasizing the commonality in shortlisting criteria and the individualized approach each IIM will take in forming its final merit list.
