CAT 2024 Result analysis
1. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has released the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 result at iimcat.ac.in. This year, 14 candidates have scored 100 percentile of which only one is woman. Moreover, 13 aspirants are from an engineering background while only one is a non-engineer, as per IIM-C.
Of the 2.93 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam, 1.07 lakh are female candidates, 1.86 lakh are male candidates and 5 are transgender candidates.
How many non-IIMs will use CAT scores for MBA admission?
86 non-IIM institutions will also use CAT 2024 scores this year for admission into their management programmes, a statement on the CAT result notification said.
How many score 100 percentiles?
As many as 14 candidates have scored 100 percentile marks in CAT 2024. Of them, most are from Maharashtra (5) followed by 2 from Telangana and one each from Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh.
How many score 99.99 percentiles?
As many as 29 candidates score 99.99 percentiles.
